Finance Administration Assistant

Salary: £17,138 per annum
Permanent, Full time, 35 hours a week
Location: based in WEA Cymru Cardiff Office

About the Job
Working as a member of the Finance Team, you will provide administrative support to the Finance function. You will process purchase orders in line with financial regulations; receipt, check and process invoices; prepare banking and assist in the preparation of returns to project funders while ensuring correct and timely claims are submitted.

About you
You will have good IT skills demonstrating a good working knowledge of Excel, Word and email. You will be well organized, methodical and able to work within the parameters of laid down systems and procedures. An excellent communicator adept at working within in a team environment you will be equally comfortable with working alone and able to plan and prioritise your own workload. Experience of administering European funded projects would be an advantage.

WEA Cymru are inviting applications from tutors qualified to teach at a minimum of level 3 to add to our existing database of tutors. We are especially interested in tutors who have subject specialism and are also qualified to deliver Essential Skills from entry level to level 4 and / or have the ability to teach through the medium of Welsh and / or bilingually.
Variable hours
£19.03 - £22.13 per hour (including holiday pay)
Locations: Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy / Denbighshire, Flint / Wrexham, Powys
